Mr. Man Hee Lee, the chairman of Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) and a global peace advocate, was appointed as the world’s first Romani people’s ambassador at the Romani Assembly which was held in Sibiu, Romania on June 4th.
In addition, Ms. Nam Hee Kim, the chairwoman of the International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG), an affiliate of HWPL), was appointed as the first Korean member of the Romani National Assembly. Their appointments were made possible by the previous world peace agreement signing between Mr. Lee and the Romani King, Dorin Cioabă. Mr. Lee’s visit came as a response to requests made by Dorin Cioabă, and an invitation from Constantinescu, the former president of Romania. His visit provided an opportunity to strengthen the alliance for peace formed during previous meetings.
More than 150 Romani representatives, from over 40 countries, present at the National Assembly unanimously consented to Mr. Lee and Ms. Kim’s appointments.
On June 3rd Mr. Lee also attended a lecture at Lucian Blaga University in Sibiu where the university president awarded him an appreciation plaque, acknowledging his efforts for the establishment of world peace and unity of the Romani people.
